I hope all of you had a great Mother’s day this past weekend – I know I did. We had a simple lunch at my sister’s house with the whole family, and it was really nice just to spend time with everyone in a relaxed atmosphere. I’m really lucky to have such a special, caring and wonderful family. So much to be thankful for right now in life. 2011 may already have its bumps and bruises, but where it counts: it’s perfect.

I had this little shirt dress in my closet for some time now and just hadn’t had a chance to wear it yet. I thought the holiday would be a perfect excuse! I loved the way it looked paired with some red wedges and minimal accessories. I just had to be on major panty watch the whole time – didn’t realize how far it hikes up when bending and sitting – oops!
