San Diego Comic Con: Beauty Essentials

Needless to say, Comic Con is a crazy time. These last few weeks leading up to San Diego are always frenzied, so I figured I would hand out a weekly tip until it is D-day to help the rest of you out! Even though I love love love going to Comic Con, sometimes certain components of it really stress me out, so I am always looking for ways to simplify. This year, you guys are going along for the ride.

Lets talk Comic Con beauty. Sure, it may not be the first thing you think of when you think of SDCC, but I assure you, it is important. I feel looking your best is important whether you are cosplaying, networking or presenting. So many pictures are being taken and memories are being made, so you want to make sure you look put together and fresh, without overpacking (c’mon, we need room for all our swag!). My Beauty Essentials

So I wanted to try something new for today’s blog. I wanted to give vlogs a try again and run through my daily beauty routine. Unfortunately, the sound decided to disappear from my video footage rendering it all useless. Fun, right? Thank goodness it was shot during the tropical storm so it’s not like I had a lot to do regardless. So here is my second attempt. I’ve put together a list of all my daily beauty essentials to share with you. Since I don’t consider myself a “beauty queen” per say, feel free to chime in with recommendations and tips.

I like to mix up high-end products with drugstore to create a flawless, natural face. I think it’s honestly what every girl should try to achieve, not only with makeup but also with wardrobe/accessories. A few key designer items mixed with affordable pieces.
