Lovable Friday!

It’s been awhile since I’ve compiled a Lovable Friday due to the holidays! Unfortunately, not a very lovable Friday for me. I’ve been pretty sick the entire week. I guess I’m not cut out for this 40 degree weather in Miami!

1. CB2 opening in South Beach

Words cannot describe how happy this makes me! South Florida seems to always be the last to get amazing stores: we recently got West Elm and IKEA after years of lusting from afar and have yet to see an H&M (one in Orlando just opened several months ago). I cannot wait to take advantage of their fabulous sales without having to tack on those nasty shipping charges! And just in time for our new home too! The store opens in Lincoln Road Mall on January 14th. See you there

Some of my favorite things

Back for another edition of some of my favorite things.
As some of you can tell, I haven’t been having one of the best weeks, so it’s always nice to look at pretty & desirable items to decrease those feelings of mass murder. At least, it works for me.

So I received the latest CB2 catalog and am going to run down some of my fav’s. Some issues are not all that impressive, but this time around called for me to whip out the permanent marker and go crazy with the circling. You’ve been warned!

Engineer Dining Table – $399

I love the raw look of this table and think it would look amazing as a dining room table in a really modern space. And that price! Diggin’ it!

CityScape Shower Curtain

Cityscape Shower Curtain – $39.99

I’m always on the lookout for a new hip shower curtain and this one is lovely. Unfortunately, our CBGB curtain is on its last legs and I think this one with its bright yellow elements would look great in our mainly grey bathroom.

Desktop Chalkboard

Desktop Chalkboard – $14.95

Being a fan of chalkboard-anything, I think this is an adorable idea. Maybe not for the office-office, but definitely a cute statement for a home office.

I just got the new CB2 catalog in the mail & loved so many things, I decided to make a post out of it! Hopefully by posting some of my favorite items, I can inspire some of you. And, for those that have never heard of CB2, welcome to the wonderful world of both class & fun! Without further ado, here are my picks for must-haves:

Comic appetizer plates

$1.95 ea.

How amazing are these little plates?? The comic appetizer plates definitely speak to the comic book fan in all of us and are perfect for summer cookouts in the patio. Plus, you can’t beat the price – grab them now while they are still on sale! I know I will be.
