Featured: Gala Darling

Every now and then, I form a girl crush. The “I’d love to hang out with you 24/7, borrow your clothes, dance on beds and take over the world” kind of feeling. Well, I feel that way about Ms. Gala Darling. She is a wonderfully eccentric and fabulous New Zealander that has made New York City her playground. Her blog is full of daily inspiration when it comes to fashion, music and life in general. I love a lot of blogs, but this one just sucks me in. If you know me personally, you would agree that Gala or a very similar girl is nested somewhere inside of me. I would love to dye my hair neon pink, live in a fabulous city and maintain my wardrobe on only sequins & glitter. She lives her life the way I aim to live my own: to the fullest, without regrets. I basically love everything about her.

One of my favorite features on her blog is the daily outfit. Although not technically daily, Gala posts her outfit for that particular day and breaks down where she purchased each piece and the story behind it. This girl has some killer style. It is so perfectly girly, eccentric, sexy & kitschy all rolled into one – I absolutely love it. Even better is the fact that her choices are often accessible and budget-friendly! She has introduced me to a bevvy of new Etsy stores, which I am always grateful for! Also, check out her links for even more shopping bliss, amongst other things.
