After hearing about this movie for months and attending a panel at Comic-Con, I am so excited the premiere date for District-9 is here! We have tickets to a showing tonight with a group of friends and I can’t wait! In case you are one of the 4 people that have not heard of this movie, it is set in a time where aliens have landed on Earth, but have been segregated from the general public in an area called District-9. I’ll make sure to put together a review come Monday as part of my weekend highlights for all of you!

Muse is one of my favorite bands. I adore anything these three guys make so I was not surprised when I completely fell in love with their newly leaked single, Uprising, from their upcoming album, The Resistance. It is everything I love about the band: epic, dramatic, a total rock anthem for sure. And an excellent song to have dance parties for one to…just sayin’. Can I tell you all how excited I am to see them live (for the first time) in October?? Although they are U2’s openers, I hope they give us the usual Muse bravado. It just wouldn’t be fair otherwise.
Possibly the best idea I have heard of in some time, hands down. The lovely people of Lithuania have decided to hold Bubble Day every second Monday, which they refer to as Burbuliatorius. It is basically a gathering of clearly amazing individuals blowing and playing with bubbles. I think I’ll be the first to try to start this in Miami. What do you all say? Would you come to a Bubble Party? Because I sure would.
Although this costume is a secret until my favorite holiday arrives, I just had to give a little sneak peek (can you guess?) and express how excited I am about it. If done correctly, this could be one of my favorite and best costumes to date. Unfortunately, that’s all I’m giving you today. 😉
