It’s that time of month again! I absolutely adore Fandom of the Month Club, and this time around, wanted to showcase my reactions in real time. I am very far behind in my comic reading. I started Sandman, but to be completely honest couldn’t get into it at all (I know, blasphemy). Then I was recommended two indie comics by a friend, and picked them up at our last visit to Tate’s Comics. I am so hooked on both Saga and The Wicked & The Divine! I’ve only read the first volume of the two, but I cannot get enough. I know I’m the last one to jump on the Saga bandwagon, but better late than never I say!
Aside from the perfect convention outfit, you have to take into account the perfect convention bag. You are going to need it to carry all your free swag, aside from all the goodies you’ll be picking up. Plus, it has to be comfortable and help you achieve that geek chic look you strive for – amiright?? I’ve made the mistake of bringing small or weirdly-shaped bags to past cons and have totally regretted it. I love that these bags range from sleek and chic (that Fjallraven bag is so versatile and stylish) to fun and kawaii (that cat ear bag is everything to me right now). Depending on your geek style, any of them could work to complement your convention needs. Plus, some may work in great with cosplays (I’d love to see a Mario sporting that Nintendo bag) and really make you stand out in a crowd.

I am so so so happy to be working with Pipsticks! If you don’t remember, I reviewed their sticker subscription service a few weeks ago, and instantly fell in love. We have since decided to make beautiful music together, and this month’s package was no different. I immediately wanted to rip it open and devour all the kawaii goodness it was sure to hold. But look at how nice I am. I actually took my time to give you guys nice pictures before the fangirl destruction (sad cloud face was placed to cover my address, not to reflect any kind of negative emotion – sorry, stalkers). 😉
