Retail therapy is always a friend of mine. Last week, I was feeling a little under the weather so I found myself online shopping (always a great remedy). Alloy especially had quite a fun clearance section so I decided to go for it and indulge, after all, I couldn’t resist those prices – you’ll see why!
My mom always tells me that I “love to look like a little girl” because of my continuing obsession with bows, polka dots and all things youthful and cute. I really can’t help myself. When I see something that makes me literally gasp and say “awwww” I must purchase it. That’s just the way things go in my world. This little red babydoll dress was no exception! Can you believe it was only $14.99? I plan on rocking it this weekend for a vow renewal. No wonder people still think I’m in high school. 😉
I also managed to find the most adorable pin-up style swimsuit on super clearance – from $42.50 to $9.99! God, I love it! It’s absolutely perfect for our 2nd wedding anniversary trip to Key West. I just have to beware of the dreaded strange monokini tan lines. Maybe this will only be for lounging and not serious beach activities. Who am I kidding? Everyone knows we are just going to spend the 4 days riding scooters, eating and drinking. Activities. Ha.
I also picked up some fantastic rock star inspired threads at Marshall’s yesterday for the next couple of concerts I’m attending in the next month: She Wants Revenge & Muse! What really made me smile was that each item was less than $10. Ah, I love my bargain hunting skills. I really should control my impulses though. Damn that shopping adrenaline rush! 😉
Sorry for the lack of face in these photos. I take these really late when the last thing I want to do is doll up. Also, please disregard my hubby’s (awesome) multicolor sneaks creeping up behind me. Heh. I’m thinking the white tank needs some sort of belt because I’m looking a little more frumpy than I enjoy, but overall I think I accomplished some bad ass rock & roll looks. What do you guys think?

WOW!!!! I love bargain shopping!!! It makes you feel so good and a little less guilty for spending the money, LOL!!!! Anyway, I too love shopping/retail therapy and bargains. I never buy anything full price, unless that full price is cheap (like my $7 British flag t-shirt from Walmart). Anyway, as always you look awesome Meli!!!!
