I had a pretty rough week, so I welcomed Friday night with open arms. Thankfully, we had some pretty great plans. We met up with some of our friends at Trattoria Sole in South Miami for some good eats and equally tasty drinks. I decided to be adventurous and ordered the grilled octopus, which was possibly the best thing I’ve ever had at Sole. Yummy tentacles!
We had a pretty busy Saturday which had us driving all around the Doral area searching for tile so it kind of worked out perfectly that we were rewarded with our good friend, Lori’s, birthday party that night! The Winter Music Conference attempted to ruin our evening, but in the end, we prevailed! We had a great time dancing at Buck 15 (how can anyone not?) and ended the night in the best way possible: Cuban food at 3am! π
Sunday was spent in our new house, which has pretty much been the staple since we closed. We just can’t get enough of the place! We decided since the house had been cleaned up now that the popcorn was removed and the ceiling painted, we should take the dogs to introduce them to their new home. They absolutely loved it! They ran around the patio, sniffed every square inch of the place and even left a little squishy surprise on the premises π

Do they know what pools are? The first time I took Baxter to my parents’ house in the summer, Baxter had no idea what it was and literally went in head first while running around it like a maniac. He was not too happy. But some dogs like to swim!

Heehee, do the pupsters swim? They seemed very unconcerned with the pool. (I thought for sure you were going to walk right in for a second there, lol!)

That is maybe the cutest photo of the little monsters I’ve ever seen.

BP is terrified of any body of water. I really did not expect him to be so nonchalant about the pool. I’m sure he’ll change his tune once he has his first run in with it π
Gwen likes being bathed, but I’ve never put her in a pool before. I have a feeling she’ll like it though!
