I had wanted to see this movie ever since I laid eyes on the first trailer, but finally got around to checking it out last week while the hubs and I were having a lazy night consisting of a couch, butternut squash soup & On Demand. I knew I’d like it, but I didn’t think I’d love it. Joke was on me, it seems, because I fell head over heels.
Mainly it had to do with the music, the cute British kids and the styling.
…and the music.
I was absolutely mesmerized by Marianne’s outfits. I just couldn’t handle the level of cute. Dated? I think not. I’m pretty sure I would rock every single piece she had going. Look at those aqua tights! I die.
I’d also like to celebrate Boxing Day (or any day really) by wearing colorful tissue papered crowns.
Spontaneous dance numbers always win my heart.
& so do whimsical vintage weddings!
You had me at ‘ello, mate.

I totally wanted to see this movie in theatres too but never got a chance and it slipped my mind completely until I saw your post. Now I REALLY want to see it!
And I love those paper crowns that you get from the crackers too! The US seriously needs to adopt crackers as favors for the holidays, they’re just too awesome.

I don’t think there is really a specific time for crackers, so I’m pretty sure I’m going to have my own anglophile party just for the fun of it complete with crackers and crowns. You are all invited!
ps; Lovin’ the pic, Ang!
