Scallops have once again melted my heart. This clutch is just all sorts of wonderful. Between the color, the fabric and the little gold tassle, my heart has hit girly overload. I must have it. Unfortunately, it is $100. Oh Top Shop, you vile wench. I shall have my way with you in November!
I’m really loving all these crafts made even more simple with the use of free paint chips from your local Home Depot or Lowe’s store. I’ve wanted a permanent bunting display for above our TV in the living room and I think this perfectly adorable and colorful heart garland is the winner! The additional supplies are easy peasy too: heart hole punch, needle and thread. I smell a project!
This outfit is perfectly perfect. I would literally spend day and night in it, and I thank Kendi for putting yet more items on my wish list. She’s really good at that. And seriously my favorite fashion blogger out there. She gets it. Anywho, I now must have this little Zara dress in coral with a matching military-inspired vest for my upcoming birthday trip to LA. Kendi: 1, Meli: 0.
The only thing better than ruffles is butt ruffles! Yeah, yeah, they make your butt look huge – but honestly, mine is already huge so I doubt it would make a big difference. Plus, it comes in such a variety of colors – it would be easy to pair with one of your pre-existing tops. And at $35, it’s a J. Crew steal! My favorites? Island Aqua and Bitter Citrus!
I saw my first sneak peek of Sucker Punch during last year’s Comic Con, and was instantly drawn to it. The images looked beautiful and I enjoy when someone comes with an original story (so many remakes lately). However, I never got around to seeing it and then the reviews started trickling in that it was awful. My friends agreed so we decided to wait until it was released on Blu Ray. Well, I saw it last week and I thought it was all sorts of wonderful. Why all the hate? Great story, great visuals, great message and especially great music! My favorite is the cover of Where Is My Mind, which I just discovered is performed by the lead actress, Emily Browning. Sweet little piece of trivia 😉

That clutch is cuuuute! Hate how overpriced TopShop is here though. Apparently in England it’s basically priced like H&M.
