This dress has been haunting me for weeks. Usually, that means I should buy it. But I went on kind of a shopping binge while the hubs was gone so I am on a current shopping freeze (ugh, I hate those). So I will just admire from afar (hate doing that too) for now. For those of you that don’t have to window shop, check out the beautiful shop, Spool No. 72. They have some gorgeous pieces. This is actually my runner up!
I haven’t attempted a DIY project in some time since I’ve been busy with maid of honor duties and focusing all my energy on little projects for pre-wedding festivities, but I think I am finally ready to jump back in the saddle after I stumbled on this one! I love the whole spiked accessories trend – it speaks to my inner rocker, and she wants some spiked kicks please. Plus, it’s as easy as pie: pick up a cheap pair of sneakers (like these from Target), a tube of E6000 & lots and lots of spikes. Doin’ it!
I’m very late to the ombre trend, but I’m thinking I totally want to give it a whirl this summer. I usually don’t keep my hair this long, so I want to take advantage of the length and do something fun. But I want to do something just a little different than your typical blogger ombre. I saw this picture and knew it was it! Pink ombre? YES PLEASE. I will definitely be shooting this inspiration straight to my hairdresser!
Go Jane is my go to when I want new shoes but don’t have the budget to spend on them. They have such great styles for really affordable prices. Plus, the quality is pretty fantastic. I have plenty of their shoes that have lasted well past a couple of years of very heavy use. These loafers are just killing me. Aren’t they the perfect summer flat? They come in a whole array of colors too, if mint isn’t your thing (honestly, how could it not be?!).
I hadn’t been to Kohl‘s in a long time, and I honestly don’t know why. I have one only 5 minutes from my house and I always love that almost every item in their store is on sale. I’m a big fan of Lauren Conrad‘s exclusive line (see the adorable Anika wearing it here), but was blown away by the Candies line. They had such fun and youthful colors and patterns, I was in heaven. This dress nearly made me fall over. The orange/pink shift (here) just screamed summer to me – I cannot wait to rock it in the Miami sunshine! Another summer uniform for sure!
