Although I live in one of the most humid and sticky places in the US, I have a hard time rocking shorts. I’m just not a huge fan, but find them a necessity to my wardrobe due to our weather. To make them a little more desirable, I decided to stock up on fun summer colors. I was lucky to find a killer sale at the Gap outlet a couple of weeks ago on just that, and these were one of my take aways! Aren’t they a fun and sunshine-y shade of yellow?

Love it! I have always felt really awkward in shorts. But, I’ve embraced them because I can’t deal with the heat anymore. Anyway, the Ann Taylor Loft has some very flattering ones, specifically in curvy styles.

I’ve just this year started feeling more comfortable in shorts! I think it’s all about finding the right pair. I totally echo the Ann Taylor Loft recommendation and I’ve found a couple good pairs at Old Navy this year. 🙂
