Risky Business

It’s been a tough week.
I got sick while on vacation, and it has proven to be the never ending stomach bug. I’m still sick as we speak, but I’m slowly improving. I don’t want to be a Debbie Downer, so I won’t focus on that. Instead, check out the huge risk I decided to take with my hair before leaving on vacation:

Pink ombre!

While searching through Pinterest, I had seen such awesome fashion colored ombre hairstyles, and wanted one to call my own! Now that I don’t work in an office, I figured it was my time to have a little fun. Five hours in a salon later, my hairstylist did a fantastic job making it a reality! I am so happy with it – especially how long it has lasted! Two weeks later and it still is pretty vibrant and beautiful. If you are in the South Florida area and looking for a talented hair dresser, I totally recommend Valerie from Peter of London. She has never steered me wrong!

Would you take a hair risk this big?

I’ve always wanted to do peek-a-boo pink highlights, but because of my work setting I haven’t been able to do it. I need to do it before I get too old =/ lol

I hope you are feeling better Meli!
My summer vacation gift to myself is painting my nails in crazy colors…I can’t pull off crazy colors during the school year while in parent and teacher meetings!!

    It doesn’t hurt that:
    1. you have AMAZING HAIR (that you torture by dying since we have been like, 3, and yet, it lives on healthily and radiantely, lol).
    2. NO HAIR COLOR LOOKS BAD ON YOU – EVER. You’re like Katy Perry, but first.

    Hehe, well thank you.
For the record, I didn’t start dying it until I graduated from high school (I wasn’t allowed), so I was 18. 😉

I don’t! I’m actually an independent contractor so I do in-home or in-school therapies – no physical office to speak of. It’s very liberating! 🙂

That was the weirdest, most terrible sickness ever.
    I still blame the monkey.
