I’m a big fan of balloons. They just really set the mood and tone for a fun festivity. That’s why my jaw dropped when I discovered Geronimo balloons. They are nothing short of magical: huge and perfectly round 36 inch spheres, tied with glittery, gorgeous, fairy-like streamers of wonder. Yes, I am in love. Want to know more? Such a sweet story.
Squeeworthy: Disney Pop! Vinyl Figures
I definitely had a physical reaction when I saw these adorable figures. Disney definitely knew that it had to capitalize on the hip vinyl toy craze, and such was born the Disney Pop! vinyl figure collection. Sure, they have Vinylmation, but there is just something much more special about this series. Or maybe it’s because I’m bitter that I always got the same damn Vinylmation figures with every blind box I purchased. Or maybe these Pop! figures are just too darn cute for their own good. Either way, I am now lusting over certain characters, Maleficent obviously being my number one, closely followed by Stitch. And if you find that you can’t choose just one (or 5), you can purchase the bundle for a whopping $150.
Which one is your favorite?
Wouldn’t it be lovely to have one (or some) of these for a giveaway?
I guess a girl can dream…
Lovable Friday!
This concept is just killer. I am always looking for new, fun and unique ways to work out. Unfortunately, bobbing on an elliptical machine for 45 minutes just does not do it for me. I get bored and restless at about the 6 minute mark. Cue Derby Lite! It’s a workout based on roller derby, only without the aggressive hits. Each 2-hour workout includes off-skates conditioning, dynamic warm-ups, on-skates skills and drills, upper body strength exercises and cool-down stretching (aka; not boring). Unfortunately, Derby Lite is not offered in Miami (wah!), but you can submit a form requesting that your city be added. I did, and you should too!
Lovable Friday!
Forget Beyonce’s advice, I’d like to put a bow on it. On everything! I adore bows, and this cute leather cuff makes me swoon! It also comes in pink, but there is just something so lovely about this blue hue. It would look great paired with skinny jeans and a neutral tank!
Squeeworthy: *Blank Photos
I have a lot of creative and wonderful people in my life. One of them happens to be my good friend, Penn, of *Blank Photos. She is a South Florida photographer that mainly focuses on infants, children and families, but also shoots events and portraits. I asked her if she would be willing to shoot me for my blog redesign (coming soon!), and thankfully she agreed! I had a great time shooting both at a park across the street from my home, and at Green Street‘s back room in Coconut Grove.
In case you are interested, my makeup was done by the fabulous Llynette Shirazi, my outfits courtesy of Lazy Oaf and nail polish(s) were Essie’s Mint Candy Apple and Pansy.
