Although I figure a lot of the die-hards hit up the theaters last night at midnight, for the rest of us less brave souls, it’s a New Moon kinda weekend! As I’ve mentioned several times already (can’t help it, I’m excited!), I’ll be going with a group of girlfriends to check out the movie at Cinebistro Saturday afternoon. Cinebistro is for adults only (21+) and provides food and drinks as you watch the movie. I’ve never been because I had been saving it for a special movie (I’ve heard it can be pricey) and I this fits the bill! I don’t have the patience nor the energy to deal with hormonal teenage girls screaming every time Robert Pattinson’s mug comes onscreen so this was my best bet. Not to say that 20-something year olds can’t be just as fanatical, but I’d like to think we know how to class it up a little better. Afterwards, I am hosting a Twilight-themed party at my pad complete with board games, specialty drinks and fangtastic treats. I hope the rest of my little twi-hards enjoy the movie – I’ll make sure to give my two cents on Monday!

I really love astrology. In high school, I used to visit Barnes and Nobles with friends and plop in front of the astrology section for hours, reading about my zodiac sign (Leo) and my supposed characteristics, love matches and life paths. Later on in life, I had my tarot cards read and I got some pretty interesting results, some that still make me smile. So for those fellow astrology enthusiasts, these adorable necklaces from UnCommon Goods help tell the world who you are. You can pick one up for $32.

We picked up this puppy on release day and immediately started watch the special features disc, which has a ridiculous amount of fabulous extras – so many in fact that we could only get through one third of the features after a couple of hours! I absolutely loved hearing the stories of how the movie came to be and how they were able to secure such an amazingly talented cast. Plus, do I have to mention how smokin’ Mr. Quinto looked? Sorry, I can’t help myself. 😉

I might be completely late to the party with this one, but I had no idea Ms. Gwennie Gwen had released L.A.M.B. products for MAC! She has the most beautiful laptop bags as well as little pouches for all your accessories. I think the designs are spectacular, but unfortunately they run pretty steep ranging from $49.95-$399.95. One thing that’s missing is a hot little iPhone case – c’mon Gwen! Give us what we want! 😉

For the first time in Project Runway history, I was upset with the season winner. Maybe it was because Irina was such a bitch (she was nicknamed Mean-A Irina by fellow cast mates) or just because she does not match my design aesthetic, but I just did not want her to win. Carol Hannah and Althea were just way more creative in my opinion and didn’t seem like they were on a mission to steamroll everyone in their way. Carol Hannah’s final runway show was absolutely beautiful, so if you are out there, CH, reading this and discouraged, find comfort in your heart that little old me would love to wear every single one of your designs. Yes, even the one with the crazy tulle skirt. True story.
Have a great weekend, everyone!

That zodiac necklace is so cute!! I’m loving the little llama Libra! 😀
I agree with your Project Runway finale review. Can’t stand Irina and while her collection was the most cohesive I though I had seen it all before, even the ridiculous hats. I liked Carol Hannah the best too and from the second I saw that awesome, upside-down pyramid, tulle skirt I thought she would win!

My teen has a quence and he wants to go show off his hair cut and style expertise to all the young ladies in his art program.
