Just thinking of one of my favorite things in the world: glitter. Glitter makes everything better, don’t you think? I’d like to bathe in glitter and wear it head to toe. Fits perfectly with my 2010 cupcake fashion motto too. Just sayin’. 😉

I have this sick fascination with skulls – I just love them involved in basically everything. From fashion to accessories to home decor. You get the point. That’s why I fell in love with the Muertosfineskulls etsy store. They are made my Andy Fark, who swears repeatedly throughout the store that he is not an artist. I can’t say I agree. I hope to pick up this puppy or something similar for my future pink room.

So, I recently was re-organizing the office/spare room in our place and I came across some of the original sketches that I had made when Meli and I were mulling over ideas for all the printed materials for our wedding. As a backstory, Meli and I have been married just shy of two years (anniversary is November 17th!!) and have been together somewhere around 8 years.
I pretty much love vintage anything, so when I stumbled upon these engagement photos on the lovely Jeune Marie blog, I nearly exploded! How flipping cute are these??? It definitely makes me wonder why I didn’t think of this idea for our own engagement pictures – rats! [Read more…]
I usually like posting about my friends that are extremely talented and creative so they can get the exposure they deserve in the blogosphere, or at least in my own personal space in the blogosphere (heh). But this time, I am able to gush about my own husband! Augi spends his days working as an Art Director at an interactive agency, but he is lucky enough to have many talents (so jealous). He is an amazing guitarist and artist, but I’d say his biggest passion outside of work is photography. Augi is a self-taught photographer that has just recently been honing in on his craft. He’s invited some of our closest friends and family to model for him in order to build his portfolio and he finally thought it was robust enough to put together a blog/website showing off his work, which can be found here!
