What I Wore: Birthday Girl!

After a fun trip to the Keys with some of my closest friends, I closed my birthday weekend with a family get together at my sister’s house. We had a great time laughing, reminiscing and comparing sibling similarities. I wanted to be comfortable, but also play the role of the birthday girl. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to pull out my new H&M outfit that I picked up while in California a couple of weeks back. I can’t tell you how in love I am with it and I can’t wait to remix the separate pieces. Apparently polka dots were a theme this year. ;)

What I Wore: Go Jane Wedges

With weddings comes a lot of events, which means a lot of outfits! This can get pretty painful on your wallet pretty quickly, but that’s where budget shopping comes into play! This outfit, which is totally one of my new favorites, was under $60! My absolute favorite part of it were the shoes (big surprise). I don’t know if you all remember, but I had have a slight obsession with these Aldo wedges. I wanted them in every color, but with their current price tag, I would be lucky if I could swing one. That is, until I saw these super similar ones at GoJane.com for a quarter of the price! They come in a wide array of fun summer colors as well, and are very comfortable. Take it from me: I was wearing them for 12+ hours this day and I didn’t want to saw my feet off (always an accomplishment).

Retail Therapy & So Effing Cute Winner!

Wrist Candy

As you all know, on the top of my accessory wish list is plenty and plenty of beautiful wrist candy! I’m loving all the gorgeously piled bracelets I’m seeing on my favorite fashion bloggers and random Pinterest photos. They are just so playful and youthful. I think that if I had an arm full of color and whimsy, it would be impossible to not look down and smile multiple times during the day, am I right?
