Female Geek Bloggers Meet Up – San Diego Comic Con

I’m headed to San Diego for Comic Con as you read this, so make sure you follow my instagram accounts (@melificent & @thefangirldiaries__) for all the fun! The Fangirl Diaries: SDCC Outfits

So for those of you still not following my little side project, The Fangirl Diaries…DO EET! I’d like to think that our content is improving as we go and I’m really proud of where it is heading. There are a lot of amazing things in my geeky future, and I can’t wait to share them with you, but for now, check out our newest video with the absolutely adorable Netty of The Fashionable ESQ. She was sweet enough to style several outfits for me for upcoming San Diego Comic Con (SDCC), and we had such a fun time together.

 

 

Street Style {Comic Con 2012}

As promised, both myself and the hubs were able to snap a few pictures of Comic Con attendees that were rocking some sweet outfits. Although we weren’t able to get as many as we wanted for you guys because I got ill and things were just very hectic, here are a few great ones!

Comic Con Bound!

This really snuck up on me, but tomorrow I’ll be leaving on a jet plane to LA, where I will be meeting up with some of my most favorite people to hang out and relax. You can refer to it as the calm before the storm that is San Diego Comic Con! I am fortunate enough to be going as press again with my dear friend & partner in crime, Rosy Cordero, of Accidentalsexiness. We will be live tweeting from our joint project’s account, so make sure to follow & keep up with us at @soblogalicious! We will also be hosting a live hangout straight from the source from our Google+ account, so make sure to add it now! Additionally, I will be taking some street style photos to share with all of you on the blog when I return. Don’t think Comic Con is a fashion mecca? You’d be surprised, my friends.

I am so excited for this adventure – I’m sure you all remember how great it was for me a couple of years back. I met some pretty astounding people and made some great connections. I hope to do all that and more this time around!

And if you are feeling a little disheartened about my absence, fear not! The lovely Aurora, editor of Where South Florida, will be taking over the blog while I am gone. Be nice to her, and show her your love! I’m sure she’ll be sharing some amazing content in my stead!

Magical Moments Monday

x. Said album being mind blowing & amazing.
x. Gluten free beers and cuddles.
x. Deciding to visit Chicago again (I’m persuasive).
x. Drinks with some very amazing ladies.
x. Hitting the one-month mark until Comic Con!
x. An impromptu trip to The Florida Keys after some hard days.
x. LOBSTER TAIL IN MY BEH-LEH.
x. Stocking up on colorful shorts for the summer.
x. Officially using our pool for this first time this summer!
x. Time with some special dads. <3
