My hubs and I are concert goers. Seeing live music is one of my main hobbies. I enjoy it so much. There really is nothing like seeing one of your favorite bands live – experiencing the music and sharing it with your closest friends. Unfortunately, Miami doesn’t play host to many great bands but that seems to be changing as of late. We’ve had a lot of great bands coming through our area for once, which makes me really excited and hopeful that we will get even more!
This summer is especially jam packed with musical goodness. I have tickets to see 4 different artists and it’s only March! And they are all wonderful. Want to know who?
Kings of Leon
May 7th, 2009
Kings of Leon are just good rock and roll. And I’m a good rock and roll kind of girl. I was hooked on first listen and was lucky enough to see them open for Pearl Jam back last summer. They were amazing and I hoped and prayed that they would come back headlining their own show. And what do you know? Here they are! I scored floor tickets and will be sharing the fun with my good friend & forever concert buddy, Elissa. It should be tons of fun.
Nine Inch Nails | Jane’s Addiction | Street Sweeper
AKA: NIN/JA
May 8th, 2009
The night after Kings of Leon, I’ll be celebrating something that doesn’t happen often: the first time I see a band I’ve loved for years. Something has always come between me and Mr. Reznor and I am so glad that is no longer the case and that I finally secured tickets for the NIN/JA show! Granted, I am up in the lawn section but I’ll be there to enjoy every second! And as if Nine Inch Nails wasn’t awesome enough, I’ll also get to see Jane’s Addiction (Dave Navarro is so dreamy) & Tom Morello’s newest project, Street Sweeper. If you are interested in hearing some tracks from all 3 bands, check out their tour website for some free music!
Gavin Rossdale
May 19th, 2009
OK, I caved. You caught me. All I needed was a partner in crime and I found one in my good friend, Bonnie. Ever since I was 18 Bonnie has always been down for any kind of fangirl-ish adventure and this one is no exception. We’ll be traveling to Orlando mid-week to see Mr. Rossdale perform at the House of Blues (a venue I’ve always wanted to check out). My goal for the night? FINALLY getting a snapshot with my crush of crushes. Either way, I know it’s going to be a great night full of screaming, bad sing alongs and swooning. Lots of swooning.
No Doubt
June 3rd, 2009
I’ve posted enough about this one to make everyone sick! I have loved Gwen since I was 14 years old. Sure we had a quick falling out when I found out she was dating & then preceded to marry “my man,” but I quickly got over my delusion and moved on. We scored 10th row center tickets to this show and I am absolutely thrilled. I’ve already seen them once and they put on one hell of a show. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us now! Something I find hilarious? I see Gavin on the 19th, fly to California the next week and then see Gwen the following week! That’s right. My trip to California is a Rossdale sandwich! It doesn’t get any better than that, people.

ok, I *love* the little frames/tabs that you’re using. Sorry this comment has nothing to do with the music, but I have to know where you got the frames/tabs.

I can’t tell you exactly where I got them from, but it was from one of the many digiscrapping blogs I follow. If you want, I can give you a list when I get home 🙂

Meli says
HAHAH James! That’s b/c I don’t have tickets to see Lynyrd Skynrd! I’ll appreciate from afar 😉
