That’s right, the movie all you geeky geeks have been dying to see is finally right around the corner! Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World will be out in theaters tomorrow and I don’t know about you, but my tickets have been purchased and printed since early this week! Luckily for me, Filter Magazine decided to shoot me over a copy of the soundtrack to hold me over until the premiere.

And it is good.

The soundtrack features new tunes from the likes of Beck and Metric as well as “oldies but goodies” from The Rolling Stones and T.Rex. And let’s not forget Scott Pilgrim’s fictional band, Sex Bob-Omb (which were composed by Beck) whose highly addictive track, Threshold, will swim around your brain for days. The songs definitely fit the movie’s wonderfully manic comic book aesthetic without being too over the top and obnoxious, instead spreading a pretty big smile on your face at every listen. Although, I must warn, beware if you decide to pop this baby in your car stereo as it may cause some high speed straight up reckless driving.
