Fun Manicures

Manicures seem to be the theme of the blog this week, and such a hot trend right now! Although I do love doing my own nails and see it as a form of therapy, I wish I was talented enough to do the elaborate designs I see on other’s nails. Unfortunately, my hands can be pretty shaky – especially using the left hand, so I don’t think I will ever be that successful. However, that doesn’t mean I can’t collect some of my favorite creative and fun manicures to day dream about.

    I know there are tools at Target to make perfect dots or stripes, which may make it easier! All the times I’ve tried have been free hand, and well…the results have been *interesting* to put it mildly.

    These are all great!! My nails today are ‘very Meli” I would say, lol, hot pink with chunky glitter and deco green tips :D

    I definitely want to try the neutral with mixed tips but I’m in looove with the flowers and stripes manicure, I could never pull that off though!

    Aaaaah I love lovveee the 3rd & 5th ones!! I gotta find someone to do my nails now, although I think derby would ruin them very fast.

    if you put tape across your nail and leave the tip free you can get a pretty straight line for the tips :)

    I paint my nails every week and derby doesn’t really do all that much damage, but then again, you are in the “big girls” group so I’m sure you work harder than we do ;)

    In all truthfulness, I have no idea how to do those sparkly toenails but they are gorgeous!

    I do not know. This picture was found on Pinterest. I imagine that it was done with individual glitter pieces.
