Lovable Friday!

I am very late to this pop culture train, but the hubs and I are certifiably obsessed with HBO’s Girls. The best way to describe it is a hipster/quirky version of Sex and the City. The writing is genius and I absolutely have grown attached to all the characters. I see a little piece of myself in each one of them, and I think the topics they touch on are spot on for our generation. Basically, the exact qualities that made SATC the mega hit it became. Definitely check it out!

The Romwe blog is slowly becoming my favorite spot to find beautiful things (barely behind The Glitter Guide, which means a lot if you know me and my Glitter Guide obsession), and this ridiculously hot manicure was one of the many. Isn’t it lovely?? I don’t even know how I would approach something like this, but oh-my-lord is it pretty to look at! Who needs a lava lamp with this on your finger tips??

I love drinks, whether they are alcoholic or non. I think it has something to do with living in Miami – we are constantly in the heat and in turn, constantly seeking relief. I’ve always been one of those people that adores water (& have never understood people that hate it), so the whole idea of tinting water with different fruity flavors sounds perfect! Doesn’t it sound like something Sookie Stackhouse would do while sunbathing outside? Now if I could only invite Alcide….

Speaking of drinks, I can’t even handle the cuteness that is HELLO KITTY WINE. Ladies, please join me in a communal squeal. I mean, really. I want to say that I would not drink it because it’s so adorable, but I’m not fooling anyone. I would definitely use the empty bottle as decoration though (my poor husband). According to the Internets, these fabulous little pink bottles of squee are only available on the west coast, but that will not stop me from visiting Total Wine and fully embarrassing myself by asking employees. Anyone care to join me?

DIY projects are always so enticing! Honestly my gal pals and I are ridiculously overdue for another craft and cocktails date, and this little one looks like it would be so much fun and perfect! Even though all those knots look like they would be daunting after a few glasses of Hello Kitty wine (ha), I think they could be doable. And look how cute an arm party full of them looks! I may have to schedule one very very soon! Has anyone tried this one?
