Welcome to a new feature! Even though little Luna has not yet made her debut, she will be my partner in crime on this blog once she is and I look forward to sharing a lot of her outfits (whether she is in them or not) and her adventures in them. A lot of you have been asking me where I get all my cute geeky swag for her, so I figured I would put together a post sharing just that!
I know I share the Jordan Dene love on this blog often, but how can you not when she makes such adorable things for both babies and their parents?! I often voice that I wish they made some baby clothes for big kids, and Jordan does just that! The typography is on point and we share almost all the same fandoms, so I know I’m going to love every single piece she sends my way. Here you can see both a Game of Thrones inspired onesie, as well as a Doctor Who one. I styled the GOT onesie with a pair of skinny jeans (too much cute) that are cuffed at the bottom for some extra flair, as well as a striped beanie and silver mocs. This would definitely be a Wynwood adventuring session on a Sunday afternoon outfit with mommy attempting to pull off the same look!
There are some other really great independent baby sites out there that can get your motor running if you are looking for unique and beautiful designs. I personally love Tribe is Alive and their cute and edgy clothes for your little ones. I especially fell in love when I saw that they had some geeky designs inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy. This romper is so soft and looks so comfy. I can totally see Luna rocking it to sleep and to play. I styled it with a fun glittered bow headband and tiny little Vans!
One kind of surprising place I have scored the majority of Luna’s really cute items is from H&M! I wasn’t aware that they carried baby clothes until recently and I am so glad I decided to just “check” the kids section one day. They not only have really on trend pieces at affordable prices, but they have a lot of fandom-y clothing to choose from! I almost died when I saw these vintage My Little Pony sleeper rompers. Although I’m a fan of the new ponies, these hit a special cord within me since they are the ponies I grew up with and have a lot of them saved for Luna to play with one day. They also carry some Hello Kitty (which I bought as well – duh) and lots of awesome band shirts! Check out their selection online and see if your local store carries the line! This romper is so fun and graphic that I decided to only add a pair of sparkly heart sunglasses and bright pink baby Toms. Pure girly perfection.
Finally, I come styling Jordan’s Doctor Who onesie. It’s so fun and bright that I wanted to just go all the way with patterns and color. That’s the best part about dressing a kid. There are no boundaries. All the colors and patterns and accessories in the world just add to the level of cute. These polka dot shorts were a steal in the clearance section of Marshall’s and the brightly checkered Vans and big flowered headband just cinched the sassiness of the outfit (similar to the wonderful woman that utters the phrase on her chest). All she needs is some bright red lips like mommy! 😉

Awww, there are all so cute! I love the Hello Sweetie one, it’s so cool that there are more fandom related options now and I bet Luna’s going to look adorable in them once she makes her debut. – Tasha
