Minted: Holiday Card Reveal

As you all probably remember, I teamed up with Minted to host a pretty killer giveaway. We had two lucky winners that snagged gift cards that basically gave them the opportunity to score free holiday cards! I picked up some cards of my own and I cannot wait to share them with you all!

I absolutely love that you can choose between three sizes because I honestly like more petite cards, so the smaller size was definitely my go-to. The quality is fantastic – the cards are sturdy and made of thick card stock. Plus, how can you not love that each design is made by an independent artist? We personally chose the Good All Year design by Amy Payne because it just fits with our lighthearted personalities. Plus, we knew we just wanted Luna in our cards this year (it’s hard enough to get her ready for a shoot, much less the three of us these days), so the more playful vibe worked great with a toddler picture.

Some little fun bits about this shoot: Luna was not happy to take these pictures at all. In fact, she was crying our first few attempts. I had the genius idea to grab her Little Mermaid bubble machine and that’s how we got some great shots of our little sass monster with a big grin on her face. What is she wearing? One of my Christmas outfits from when I was a child. That’s right. Vintage. I am lucky enough that my mom kept a lot of my outfits and I made sure to raid a couple of those bins while I was pregnant. Man, did I find some gems. This is just one of the many I fell in love with and took with me. It honestly pulls at all my heartstrings whenever I see her wearing my clothes.

Overall, I cannot be happier with my holiday cards and I can’t wait to send them off in the next couple of weeks! Minted made this process really easy (especially with their Find it Fast feature, which allows you to see your photo(s) on multiple designs all at once), and I can’t wait to add using Minted for our holiday cards as a new Christmas tradition for the years to come.
