Date nights are far and few between these days, so when babysitting was offered at the last minute last week, we took it and ran! Although we didn’t end up making the right decision (not impressed with CityPlace Doral), we had a great time with each other catching up. In fact, I don’t think we talked about baby stuff once! Adult conversations: success.

At first, I have to admit that LulaRoe seemed silly to me. I thought it was clothes that housewives wore in the Midwest (no offense to housewives that may read my blog in the Midwest), so I didn’t even look into it. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised – I really dig their dresses, and especially skirts. They are SO comfortable. I still don’t like 80% of their patterns, but I find myself scouring through different consultant’s inventory to find the right ones. This Cassie skirt in mustard yellow is pure perfection. I feel sexy, while still comfy. I pumped up the comfort level by pairing it with an oversized crop tee + sneakers.
This outfit, my fresh new ‘do (bangs are back!) + plenty of vodka tonics were more than enough to keep this mama happy.

My friend lives for LulaRoe but yea, I’m not a fan of their patterns at all. The leggings are okay – I have one pair but their sizing of either OS or Tall and Curvy don’t work with me.
But man do I love their Cassie skirts. I own three of them! Since I go for just solid colors I look on ebay and I have gotten 2 of them for under their retail price. The third one was sold to me by Barb but I believe she got it off ebay too!

Love this outfit! I hate most of the LLR prints too, but I do scour for some goodies 🙂 All of the UNIQLO Disney stuff is amazing!

I’ve heard so much about LulaRoe but never tried them – I’m in the same camp of not liking most of the patterns but can’t be bothered to search through!
