Magical Moments Monday

x. The Voice blind auditions make my Mondays so much better. Anyone else addicted?
x. Scored all 20 movie tickets to The Hunger Games opening weekend!
x. Speaking of The Hunger Games, some of the cast members are doing a mall tour & they are coming here! I’ll be there, will you?
x. Attending a fun blogger event at The Limited (more later this week).
x. Lunch (complete with yummy margaritas) with a friend.
x. Getting started on house projects – my closet came first!
x. Nicaraguan food and Netflix movies from the comfort of our couch.
x. Finally displaying our wedding album after nearly 5 years of marriage!
x. Hunger Games party crafting with the bestie – really doesn’t get any better!

What I Wore: Downtown Disney

After our Disney photo-taking extravaganza, we took it easy the following day and just strolled around Downtown Disney and had a few drinks at a nearby brewery. I was so happy to see so many restaurants offering gluten free options (favorite definitely being the GF fish & chips at Raglan Road Pub) – going out to eat is usually a huge struggle for me (honestly, I’ve been avoiding it lately), but it was made so easy on this trip. You really got to give it to Disney for trying to make it a pleasurable experience for all their guests.

Something else I love about Disney? You can dress a little wilder than usual and not get many side glances. Although you may be thinking my outfit isn’t that cray, I assure you it is for typical Miami folk. I always feel like I have to reign in my style (dumb it down so to speak) on days where I just don’t feel like getting those strange looks from people on the street. But not here. Oh no, Disney encourages you to hoist your freak flag and I love it. This outfit was paired with my Mickey ears earlier, but due to some serious gusts of wind, I had to take it off and tuck it in the safety of my purse. I really wish I would have gotten some shots with them on though – I was channeling a modern Minnie Mouse. 😉

Do You Want My Clothes?

My closet desperately needed a Spring, Winter, Fall, and Summer cleaning so I went ahead and did so yesterday. While I was making my pile, I realized a lot of the victims had never even been worn once! I didn’t think it was right to just toss them aside without offering them a new home first where they could at least see the light of day. So I decided to offer them to all of you, lovely readers! If no one is interested, then up on Ebay they will go, but you all get first dibs!

If you want to snag a piece, leave me a comment saying so and it will be yours. First come, first serve! Just as an aside, these all come from a smoke-free home and at max, have been worn once.

What I Wore: Disney World

Like I mentioned yesterday, we went to Disney World over the weekend to take our friends’ engagement photos in various parks. It had been too long a time since I had visited the mouse (Potter has been taking up all my Orlando visits as of late), and I wanted to make sure I showed my love by wearing my awesome, vintage Mickey ears. I also wanted to avoid the usual jean shorts-tank top-fanny pack fare that most tourists wear and put together a comfortable and airy outfit that was still stylish and fun.
