I always look forward to “making” our holiday cards each year. I mean, what’s not to love? I get to have fun taking adorable pictures with my hubs – can’t hate on that! Although I won’t unveil the actual holiday card until Christmas day here on the blog, I figured it was a perfect opportunity for an outfit post – and another excuse to show off my adorable new haircut!

I’m back from vacation, and I come bearing gifts! Namely, an outfit post! It feels like centuries since I did one, but I’m glad I was able to squeeze a few minutes out of our hectic visit to LA in order to shoot one. We were there for a friend’s wedding and had entirely too much fun. The weather was spectacular as well, allowing me to pull out all those new winter items I never get to rock back home. Leather jackets, boots, scarves and this immensely comfy sweater tunic. And yes, I’m bringing back jeggings (did they go away?) because they are possibly the best article of clothing when you are jet lagged, tired and hung over – not that I was any of those things when these photos were taken. I promise. 😉

So the always festive Ban.do has released it’s new holiday collection and I am head over heels for basically every single piece. I die. Funny thing is, I’m pretty sure I could make this statement all throughout the year, not just during the holidays. Oh color. Oh silliness. Why do I love you so? Not really quite sure, but any excuse to bring both those out is one I will surely take and run with. This past weekend was my hubby’s birthday and we put together the infamous Pinterest balloon wall. It came out great, but unfortunately, we were all too busy socializing, drinking wine and enjoying ourselves to remember to snap pictures of people in front of it. What a fail! Oh well, at least I was able to take advantage of it for my outfit post! And I think it may be one of my favorites to date.
