I haven’t cut my hair for 8 months and you can tell.
I tend to hold off this long when I am trying to grow it out because I fear the stylist cutting too much and having to start all over again after I’ve made so much progress. I’m there right now. Even though I don’t want to grow my hair out super long (like it was), I still would like it to hit past my shoulders at some point this year. But right now it’s just so bleh.
So I’m going to make an appointment for next month, but I need help!
Help me pick a style – which number should I go with:

1 or 3. 2 is cute but looks like it requires work. I’m currently growing mine out to look like number 1 so I’m a little partial to that one.
Meli says
#1 is my current choice as well 🙂
Michelle says
I like #2 the best and #1 is cute too.
Roxæ says
I vote #1 since it’s still on the longish side, plus it nice and sleek looking.
All these blondies, are you saying something subconsciously?
kristyn says
i like #3! that is how mine is cut now except i don’t have bangs that short! but with the right cut…all you need is a blowdryer and flat iron. my hair literally takes 10 minutes to do now.
Kristen says
I vote for #2. I love the choppy chop look.
Mel Malpass says
i like #2, and it looks very “you,” but it may require work so it doesn’t poof.
otherwise, i like #1 and it may be easier to maintain (and it is longer).
Rox says
I love 1 & 3 Cause i think #2 is too high maitenance
Marilise says
I think I’m gonna vote for #1. It’s the most versatile out of the three–you can make it sleek and posh, or just tousle it to make it looks similar to #2 when you want it.
The March issue of Vogue has a fun little article about shoulder-length hair that you might wanna check out for inspiration if you wanna keep your hair shoulder length.

i used that exact photo of nicole richie when i got my hair cut in the summer – it looked great, though I’m now growing out my hair (per my hair dresser’s instructions) so I can “do whatever I want with it” when I get married.
Christine says
Your long hair was pretty magnificent! I vote #1, love the shape and side-swept bangs.
Amanda says
I like #2. I should go back in and have them fix my hair like that. I dun like my hair cut.
rozzy says
1 or 3. I’m getting my hurr did today! I should take before and after pictures before I forgot. I’m thinking of becoming a blonde again. WOOO.
Elsie says
no. 1!
Andie says
I like #2, but a close tie with #1…
The Kristin or the Nicole…hmmmm
Megs says
Number 1 gets my vote!
Gladys says
love # 1 – but 2 is sooo cute and modern.
Adri says
I’m totally late here, but I’m glad you went with #1. I’ve envied Nicole Richie’s haircut for a long time. If only I had straight hair! I can’t wait to see how it looks on you.
