I hope you all had an amazing Fourth of July weekend complete with food, booze, friends and family. I know we did! Having to start a new (full) week is really going to be difficult!
Friday night we held our much anticipated RockBand party, which was a hit. Despite a now broken cymbal pad on our drum kit and a few shattered beer bottles, I’d like to say it was a success! Everyone wore their best rockstar eyeliner and I spent 20 minutes teasing my hair (only for it to wimp out 10 minutes later). We have a ridiculous amount of liquor/beer left over so I do believe another party is in order. Maybe a pre-Comic-Con slumber party? 😉
Saturday we spent the fourth with my good friend, Camero, her husband Tom and their extended family on Key Biscayne. It’s basically a tradition by now. I believe this is our 3rd year attending their festivities. And we do mean festivities. We learned some new beach games (such as Hillbilly Golf) drank more beer than I ever have before mid-afternoon and closed out the night with an amazing fireworks show on the beach.
Sunday was spent with my sister, brother-in-law and baby nephew just relaxing and catching up. The rest of my Sunday was spent denying the fact that the long weekend was over already and I would have to deal with one hell of a grueling week (Medicaid audit, court and stress in general). How many of you wish you could push the rewind button right now? Because I sure wish I could!

Ugh seriously, I was so not ready for it to be Monday today! The long weekend is almost too good. I’d forgotten about that with working weekends at the store for 6 months.
Looks like you made the most of it though! 🙂
ps. I was thinking if you weren’t booked up every second of your trip to SD, maybe I could drive down there and hang out one day/afternoon/night/whatever would work…what do you think??

I’ll send you a DM through Twitter w/ the details!
