This past Saturday was a great one!!! A group of our friends met for dinner at Trattoria Sole, my father-in-law’s Italian restaurant in South Miami. Sole is like our home away from home, so it’s great on its own but made even better when we can share it with awesome people like we did on Saturday night. We exchanged crazy stories, laughed and ate like monsters. Then we headed across the street to Splitsville in Sunset Place to do some late night bowling. I had never been to Splitsville before and it is a blast!!! They have some great drink specials, play kick ass tunes and provides a killer atmosphere. I am now a definite fan. Plus, I got to bowl, which I hadn’t done in a long time and surprised myself by not embarrassing myself too badly. We closed the night with an uber late night run to Denny’s where I’m pretty sure our waitress wanted us dead. By the time we got home, it was about 5:30am! Sunday morning afternoon made both the hubs and I realize that we are getting old. It took us an entire day to recover! Oh to be 21 again!
Hope you all have a great week!

Splitsville, hmm? Never heard of it before but looks pretty cool. Bowling league tournaments need to come back in style!! 😀

@Roxæ : The problem is that these nightclub style bowling alleys actuallys aren’t to league regulation. So most leagues can’t have events at these new places.
There are only like 2 bowling alleys in Miami-Dade left that are regulation alleys.
Roxæ says
@augi: I had no clue! That’s a shame because my guess is that those two regulation alleys haven’t been updated since the 70’s. (Which in some cases could be cool but in this case most assuredly is not.)

Sounds like so much fun! We wanted to throw one of our bday bashes there. We’re starting to feel it, too, when we party too hard. It’s worth it!

Regulations smegulations! Lets get shoes and cute shirts and do our own little thing!

Adri: DO IT!
Roxy: we will go again soon!
Elsie: cute outfits always are made of WIN.
