Make a list of 10 random/weird/funny facts about you that your readers would know nothing about.
(1) I tend to memorize things rather than learn them. Great talent to have while in school, not so great once you are out and trying to apply those skills. This is why I am stellar at remembering song lyrics and believe School House Rocks is amazing.
(2) I suffer from situational anxiety, that is, I tend to get anxious when in a “different setting” that is out of my comfort zone. I became depressed while living in Pensacola, I threw up on my first day of work, I could barely function when I went back to grad school this past year, etc. It’s pretty debilitating and frustrating because I wish I could turn it off like a light switch. I believe change is good, but my mind and body apparently do not.
(3) Instead of having my (appropriate) boyband stage when I was in grade school with New Kids on the Block, I opted to go through it when I was 18 with *NSYNC. I will not divulge how much money, time & energy I spent on those 5 guys. Still love you, Lance!
(4) After spending the majority of my life masking the fact that I am a huge dork, I am so happy that I have become comfortable enough with myself to embrace it. It feels so nice to be able to finally be crazy, nerdy, ridiculous me!
(5) I absolutely adore meeting new people and spending time with others. I am a total people person. My husband always tells me to stop making new friends, but I can’t help it. Ever since I was a little girl, I wasn’t happy unless I was with my friends. Not much has changed.
(6) When I’m alone at home, I strip down to workout clothes and have rock and roll dance parties with my dogs. It’s stress relief.
(7) I am so jealous of people who can sing and dance. This is why I adore musicals and shows like Glee. I bow down to you, Lea Michelle!
(8) I am the world’s worst storyteller. I get off-topic and ramble constantly, often forgetting what I was talking about in the first place.
(9) I am obsessive about concerts. I must be the one buying the tickets, I must take the day off work (if it is during the week), I must plan an outfit weeks in advance and I must plan a schedule (if it is not in Miami). I must also get there with more than enough time to get a good spot (if it is GA). Total concert control freak.
(10) I can’t wait to have a baby. I know I was the complete opposite just a few months earlier, but I feel like my biological clock just started to tick. Of course, we can’t have one right now (so many other things have to fall into place), but I am definitely looking forward to becoming the coolest rock star mommy on the block one day.

Cool! I learned a few new things about you! BTW, when did #10 happen?! LOL!

Adri! You were one of the first people I told in my kitchen at one of our getty’s!!! Maybe you were drunk already though…LOL.
No worries, I still have my strict no babies in my 20’s rule and have plenty to accomplish before I can think about getting preggo so just b/c I can’t wait to have a little Sanchez doesn’t mean it’ll happen anytime soon – I’m still me, after all 😉

That’s a huge list. 🙂 #2 and #1 are related. When your anxiety and stress is going to be down, you’ll memorize easily information. It’s also a question of paying more attention to what you’re listening or regarding. I think the word is “focus”. Not so sure.
#10: You should watch the Desperate Housewives when Linette is talking about her kids ah ah ah. jk 🙂

It pleases me I knew about most of those! Hahaha. You are so funny. Number 10 scares me a bit, but it’ll be cool to be an aunty and have a little one to spoil that doesn’t belong to me. You guys are going to be awesome parents. Can’t wait to see you do it. <3

No worries, Elsie.
#10 won’t be happening soon, I’ve just warmed up to the idea. Plenty of play time left 😀
