When thinking who I should feature for Halloween week’s hump day, there was no one else that would fit the bill better than Johnny Depp. After all, he’s basically in all my favorite spooky movies: Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd, Edward Scissorhands, the list goes on and on. And isn’t he just the most gorgeous man on the planet? And so humble! Did you guys hear the story where he visited a young girl at school dressed as Jack Sparrow after she wrote him a letter asking for his help to start a mutiny against school teachers? Who does that? He always leaves me frustrated because he grew up not far from me and to think I was SOOO close to him and yet so far. He is a true artist and a true actor. He is not just classic or hip, he now a ‘standard’. Depp will forever be known for being cute and such but his depth is far more his best attribute. He opens himself wide for his roles and yet in person, so enigmatic, quiet, almost as if he is the shyest guy in the world, but in not one way is he shy. I will forever be glad Burton met up with him and he has had many opportunities because of it and can write his salary for his life and like other great young, pretty actors like Pitt, they will be the type to retire young and live a real life on some island somewhere. Can’t blame them. For many this is really just a job, dunno if Depp sees it that way. I think he could do anything in art and should, but I am always surprised how deep he goes into a role and how surprising it is how FRESH he keeps it. Nice pic posts. – MediaGod
