I’ve been a big fan of the Cupcakes and Mace (what a great name) Etsy shop for awhile now, and have ordered a few fun necklaces from them. I’m sure if you haven’t seen me raving about my own purchases, you have seen at least one, two or twelve Lovable Fridays featuring these cute and original pieces. I love how bright, kitschy and fun their accessories are with such attention to detail. Crafter extraordinaire and shop owner, Kim, is a total doll and decided to team up with me to give away one of my favorite items in her shop: the unicorn necklace!
Honestly, who wouldn’t want the coolest mythical beast (ok, so maybe tied with dragons…) around their neck? Plus, you can choose from a cornucopia of colors for your horny creature (had to, sorry) to make it more personalized.

I used to have a unicorn stuffed animal that I cherished when I was little.

Oh how cute! My favorite unicorn memory is a recent one, when I met my sweetie he told me that I reminded him of a unicorn, ” magical creature that is completely unattainable and only exists in a fairytale”
How could I not fall instantly in love with him after that!

Another fabulous giveaway!
My favorite unicorn memory is a more recent one and it’s reading a book called The Unicorn Sonata which was actually written by the same author as The Last Unicorn. It’s such a lovely book and it actually made me cry; any time simple words on a page can evoke that much emotion is a fantastic thing 🙂

My favorite unicorn memory is recent haha. Shooting one of our lovables in her first Unicorn costume… was hysterical. Mind you, the costume was huge on her… So what do i do? I try on the head. It took about ten minutes to get it on and half hour to take it off.
Ahhh the unicorn hat.

When I was around 5 years old, I got s pair of white snow boots with unicorns on them. They were supposed to change color when it got cold enough, but since I live in Southern California, I used to change the colors with an ice cube.

My favorite unicorn memory and actually the 1st thing that popped into my mind, was the movie Legend and Lily attempting to touch the unicorn. It was so visual, and the music was perfect. I can hear it and picture it….Lily telling Jack (Cruise) “I only wanted to touch it. Where’s the harm in that?” in her accenty voice. Legend was a great movie. Thanks for this wonderful trip down memory lane. I remember the 1st time I watched that movie, it was like I was in a dream with the last of the unicorns. I think it was also the 1st movie I watched with Tom Cruise.
