Weekend Highlights

Friday night we celebrated my father-in-law’s birthday at his home with his closest family and friends. We had a really good time, and the highlight of the evening was watching old family slides projected on his living room’s wall. Really special. Another highlight? Reconnecting with cousins that we love very very much.

Two of my oldest friends are working baby bumps at the same time, which is absolutely adorable and sweet. It was one of their baby showers on Saturday afternoon and I had a great time chatting it up and catching up on gossip and life in general. It made me supremely happy to be around such beautiful glowing mommies to be, but also made me realize that I am definitely not ready to make that big step just yet. Gimme a couple more years, friends.

But seriously, aren’t they the prettiest & most fashionable expecting ladies you’ve ever seen? 🙂
