I love all things Gwen Stefani (I kind of want to be her when I grow up), so naturally I’m a big fan of all her fashion lines. You can imagine how excited I got when I found out she was not only making a more budget kiddie line, but that it would be exclusively sold at Target stores! Sure, I don’t have any children just yet, but it’s not too early to start collecting swag, right? OK, so that might be a little crazy, but this girl right here does not care. I just may try to squeeze into that perfect little tutu skirt! {God help me if I have a daughter.} Let’s just hope it doesn’t result in another Missoni debacle.

It’s pretty hard to believe that the gorgeous and glamorous piece above was made completely out of coins. Crazy, right? Although it is an artist’s labor of love, I think it is something that can be recreated on a basic level. Just grab some wooden letters and that trusty glue gun and go to town with all that annoying loose change in your wallet. Just make sure you wipe those coins clean – something tells me it won’t look as fabulous with tarnished, nasty ones. 😉

Yet another manicure that has taken my breathe away! How perfectly girly are these sweet nails from blogger, Cupcakes and Cashmere?!?! I always wondered how people could get such heavily packed glitter for these fun manicures, and finally I now know: real glitter. Such an a-ha moment! Looks like I’m going to have to plan a run to the local craft store to recreate this cuteness – especially since I already have one of the base colors, Essie’s Tart Deco. If I do, I’ll make sure to share on the blog!

Oh dear. Sometimes, I wish Etsy never existed. Why? Because it makes my wallet cry hysterically on a daily basis. Especially when I see something as cute as this Chevron clutch by seller, waterpath. And do you know how much it is? $25!!! C’mon, that’s a steal. Too bad I am currently on a spending freeze because I’d be all over this one. You better believe it was added as one of my favorites for future reference. 😉

I’m no designer, but I do love good typography when I see it, especially when it is paired with the perfect bright and bold color combo. It also doesn’t hurt when one of those colors happens to be one of my favorites: chartreuse! I seriously love everything about these wedding invites – brides out there reading, please use this to your advantage! Don’t you see these invites being used for a wedding at a sleek and modern warehouse space? Another one to file for future events!

Ohh I love it all! I had no idea Gwen was doing a kids’ line at Target – I want to say it won’t be as crazy as Missoni, but I can’t underestimate the moms. 😉 Of course, when I went in on Missoni day, it was mostly the kids’ stuff that was left, so maybe it won’t be so bad!
I actually attempted a version of that manicure this week, but it didn’t work out quiiite so well for me. Of course, I was also rushing before going out, so that never helps. 😉
& that clutch and those invites are super fab!

Gwen’s line actually “premieres” while we are in Europe, so I’m hoping there will still be stuff when we get back – also, I’ve noticed they are starting to restock Missoni at my local Target. Well, at least the accessories…
Did you use loose glitter for the mani? I’m super interested in this new revelation! 😉

No, I didn’t have any loose so I just used glitter polish over a solid color. I so want to try the loose glitter trick though!
