Our third day in Barcelona was a good one. We took it easy. We visited the Picasso Museum, strolled through the port and had a very romantic dinner complete with wine and paella. I think this city is just made for romance and adventure – forget Paris (but that’s a whole other post). Although our stay got a little wetter than usual, the weather was still fantastic. It was beginning to cool down a bit, but not enough to need a coat and the hazy sky made it look even more foreign and mysterious. Have I mentioned that I loved Barcelona?

My husband and I were delighted with our guide. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about the cultural destinations in Barcelona. We visited the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, and the Barri Gotic all in one day http://www.privatetoursinistanbul.com but it never felt overwhelming as she paced us well and took breaks as we needed (what with me being 7 months pregnant!) Her English was excellent and she always took the time to answer any whimsical questions about Catalan language, life, and whatnot that crossed our minds. A must if you want to experience Barcelona in the most in-depth way possible!
