5 Fandom Friday: Favorite Funko Pop Figures

I’m a little late to jump on this bandwagon, but better late than never, right? My sweet sister from another mister, Megan, from The Nerdy Girlie came up with this fun idea to combat writer’s block and I loved the concept! This week’s theme really spoke to me considering I have turned into a Pop fanatic seemingly overnight. I have a huge wish list (and no place to store them), so enjoy my most wanted.

1. Hannibal Wendigo Pop; there’s no denying that I absolutely adore Hannibal. It’s my favorite show that’s currently on TV, and I am all about the new Pop figures! I have Hannibal, but let’s face it. His Wendigo alter ego is by far the coolest of the collection, and, unfortunately, the one that is always out of stock at every store I go to. However, I’ll keep the faith that this little baby will be in my hands soon. I accept gift donations. 😉

2. DeLorean & Marty McFly Pop; growing up, I was definitely obsessed with the Back to the Future series. It made something inside of me squishy and warm, and I still experience that feeling every time I watch any of the films as an adult. Needless to say, I adore this DeLorean in the Pop Rides! line and think it’s even more amazing that it comes with an adorable Marty McFly ready and willing to hit 88 mph.

3. Lumpy Space Princess Pop; ah, my inner child. It may be hard to believe, but if you know me in person, you can definitely see the resemblances between me and Adventure Time’s LSP. There isn’t a character on the show that makes me laugh harder, and I have been known to have a few drinks and start quoting her (voice and all). Sorry, I’m not sorry.

4. MLP’s Discord Pop; I think Discord is the coolest character on the My Little Pony reboot (well, aside from Doctor Hooves). He is a mish mash of different animals and mythical creatures to create one…well, discordant little being. All his quirkiness seems to be even more pronounced in the Pop figure, which I totally appreciate. Plus, he’s an extra big guy, standing at 6 inches. Presence!

5. Dumbo Exclusive Pop; now this sweet little guy was a Comic Con exclusive, but I’m still hopeful to get my hands on him at some point. Dumbo has to be the Disney movie that makes me bawl the most (mama elephant, bars, trunk – you get the drift) and really reminds me of my childhood. Plus, who doesn’t like story about an underdog? I love how this particular figure has the metallic finish.
