Kick aside old habits
We all have bad habits, it’s a part of life. However, in order to be as productive as possible, you want to get rid of things that are taking up your time and adding no value to your life. If you find you are reliant on vaping or tend to make a mess around the house, try and teach yourself to wean away from these habits. Go for walks, speak with your friends and if you find that you’re stressed, see what you need to change to stop this from happening. If it’s work stress, speak with colleagues or vent to a family member. Remember, you are never alone.
Create a structure for the day ahead
It’s a lot easier to be more productive when you have an idea of your day ahead. Plan how you will spend each hour whether at work or home and ensure you get up at a good time each day. Plan times such as when you will reply to your emails, when you will take lunch and when you will finish work. By having a clear set time you will stay focused and not get sidetracked.
