Every now and then, I form a girl crush. The “I’d love to hang out with you 24/7, borrow your clothes, dance on beds and take over the world” kind of feeling. Well, I feel that way about Ms. Gala Darling. She is a wonderfully eccentric and fabulous New Zealander that has made New York City her playground. Her blog is full of daily inspiration when it comes to fashion, music and life in general. I love a lot of blogs, but this one just sucks me in. If you know me personally, you would agree that Gala or a very similar girl is nested somewhere inside of me. I would love to dye my hair neon pink, live in a fabulous city and maintain my wardrobe on only sequins & glitter. She lives her life the way I aim to live my own: to the fullest, without regrets. I basically love everything about her.

Changes

Melificent has undergone a few changes over the weekend that you may want to check out!

1. I now have a contact page! Feel free to email me with any news,
suggestions, comments, free concert tickets or naked pictures of cute boys.

2. I have added an “about me” section to the blog. It’s short & sweet (like me!)
and includes a fantastic photo taken of me by my very talented hubby.

This is just a post to let you all know that my comments have been fixed and that you can feel free to leave me plenty of love once again!!! I’ve missed hearing from all of you and it was definitely a tough week to blog through. I felt like I could hear the crickets out in the blogosphere!

I know you have had one of those days. The kind where everything seems to go wrong or you just cannot believe that just happened. The kind of days that make you want to punch babies. Hard.

Well, on days like those, it is always best to know that someone else’s day was worse. Way worse.

And that is what makes fmylife so ridiculously amazing.
It is a website that compiles people’s horrible stories about their embarrassing, hilarious and sometimes just plain awful experiences on a certain day causing them to say…you guessed it…fmylife.

I admit that I have spent entirely too much time on this site laughing so hard I scare innocent bystanders. Try it. You’ll be addicted.
