Chambord is one of my favorite liqueurs to use for cocktails (& also one of my favorite bottles – so fancy & French!), so I was thrilled to hear that for the first time, Chambord was extending their brand to include Chambord flavored vodka. And top it off, it’s flippin’ PINK. PINK people. Do you know how many girlie drinks are in our future? Oh please, let Tropical Storm Earl sympathize with us South Floridians because I’d love to mix some up by our pool come Labor Day weekend!
Lovable Friday
DarkUFO just posted scans from the last issue of LOST magazine and they are both adorable and heartwrenching, at least for me, as a huge fan. The last episode pretty much wrecked me inside and out, especially when it came to the church scenes. I still can’t believe my favorite show is over. Sometimes I just really miss seeing their faces, it’s kind of pathetic, huh? But true. Nothing but love for my LOSTies!
Happy Hump Day: Matthew Fox
It only seemed fitting, you know.
Matthew Fox has always been a favorite of mine ever since my slight obsession with Party of Five in the 90’s, but being a LOSTie (basically the LOSTie) has really made him earn a special place in my heart. Plus, the man is ridiculously good looking (watch out, Zoolander). And aside from being a hottie, he’s a pretty interesting human being. Matthew took up photography while filming the first season of LOST and has some impressive photos, he likes some pretty amazing music, graduated from Columbia University with a degree in economics, is a private pilot, has some pretty killer tattoos and hosts youth football clinics during his time off. Brains, talent and beauty…you really can’t beat that!
See ya in another life, brotha’
I can’t possibly wrap up 6 years of awesome in one blog post, so I will try my absolute best. I’ve already made it clear on this blog before how much this show has meant to me. I have been there from the very beginning – attending the first ever LOST panel at Comic Con 2004 where they screened the entire pilot months before it aired – until the very end. I have grown so attached to these characters that they feel like my friends; my family. I genuinely care about them and their hardships and victories. So knowing that Sunday was the series finale had my stomach in knots the entire day. I didn’t want to say goodbye to my buddies.
Please be aware that the rest of this post will be full of SPOILERS. Please do not click on the link below if you have not yet seen the finale!
LOST Hangover
Sorry all, I am still recovering from last night’s LOST finale (is it really over?), so there will be no entries for today. But no worries, tomorrow I’ll be back to tell you all what I thought about it.
For now, I’m just going to let it all sink in.
I will tell you this: I loved it.
