Spring Mixtape
Spooky Sounds
With Halloween this weekend, I’m sure there are many people putting together the final touches for their parties. And it’s not a spooky party without equally spooky tunes! I know putting together the perfect party playlist can be difficult, especially when you are limited with a theme, but luckily, I have a couple new & fun tracks to share that will work spook-tacularly (see what I did there?).
Lucy Schwartz – Graveyard (mp3 widget code)
Lucy’s new album, Life in Letters, is one of iTunes top 200 pop albums so you should get to know her sooner than later! Check out her hot video for Graveyard here and if you like what you hear, download her album.
The Chapin Sisters – Palm Tree (mp3)
The sister duo is taking America by storm, promoting their new album, Two. They are both headlining their own tour, as well as opening for the always adorable She & Him. Check them out on their official site!
A Melificent Mixtape: Fall 2010
It had been some time since I had compiled together a mixtape and what better time than for my favorite time of the year, Fall! This collection of songs is comprised of both old and new songs that have been on heavy rotation on my iTunes recently. They either make me want to put on my dancing shoes (or rock out Risky Business style) or mean something to me lyrically.
I already have a copy in my car, which is really helping my long days on the road. I hope it can do the same for you because, in the wise words of Empire Record’s Eddie, this music is the glue of the world.
Summer Mixology
So as you all know, I’m ramping up for summer and I figured it was the perfect time to upload a more summer-friendly mixtape! All these tunes make me think of laying out by the pool, road trips with no particular destination, flip flops and sunshine or all of the above. So turn it up and get your dose of musical vitamin D!

Tune-age Tuesday
I figured it had been entirely too long since I had put together a mixtape to share with all of you. Plus, I’ve heard through the grapevine that a lot of you out there favor my husband’s mixtapes over mine. I just cannot let that happen. 😉
It’s a mix of old and new, as every good thing should be. I hope you all enjoy it and I hope I managed to turn some of you on to some great new (or old) artists. I’ll make sure to start posting these a little more regularly…maybe quarterly or so that you guys can get an idea of what I’m listening to! After all, music is the glue of the world.
