I never would have thought that I would be the one putting together our Valentine’s Day dinner, but lately I’ve learned to expect the unexpected! The hubs and I are pretty mellow people when it comes to Valentine’s Day. If you all remember, last year we spent the day at IKEA shopping and eating ice cream followed by a photoshoot. This year, we are planning on having a little picnic at a nearby park and then following it up that night with a romantic dinner for two at home.
Usually, the hubs would take the reigns of the menu, but instead I found myself picking up some great ideas from none other than Ms. Martha Stewart. Here’s some ideas I have so far:
It’s always fun to have a few themed cocktails. Plus, if these seem tasty enough, we can make it a signature drink at our next party (maybe housewarming?). Even though our infamous Rum Punch is pretty hard to top! 😉
How adorable are these as a little tasty treat? I doubt mine will come out as adorable, but I’ll try my best 😉
And to not completely spoil our strict diet regime, I figured I would go with the healthy Chicken Parmigiana as our main course. It may be less indulgent, but it still looks absolutely delicious!
Pair all these yummy eats with an equally scrumptious outfit like one of these and we’re talking about some grade A celebrating:
All dresses from the fabulously chic Lulus.

Anika – great minds think alike 😉
Rox – I didn’t feel like dropping the cash either (way too expenso in my opinion) so I opted for the last dress. Can’t resist orange!
Adrienne – YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY. I can’t wait to *finally* meet you!
