Circus Love

3558672158_225eaa26e4_o

For those of you that haven’t followed my online presence throughout the years, I was a very active “knottie” that enjoyed planning my wedding during my 2-year engagement. I really really loved it. To the point that I considered at one point (& sometimes still do) making wedding planning and coordination a career. It’s the reason I still find myself lusting after events like these.

Adam & Halli’s wedding was something out of an Anthropologie catalog somehow without being pretentious. They created an old school circus feel for their wedding from their attire to their location to their decor. The attention to detail was outstanding – from Halli’s “Till Death Do Us Part” tee for their rehearsal to the adorable kissing booth during the reception. It is a  party planner’s dream come true.

So for those of you that read my blog and are currently planning a wedding, definitely click here to see all the photos from their amazing photographer. You will be flooded with inspiration! And if I were to get married all over again, I would love my shindig to look as effortlessly flawless as this adorable backyard wedding.

Weekend Highlights!

sat

poolpartyblog

It’s pretty apparent we have welcomed summer here in South Florida – it’s been muggy, humid and disgusting outside. And nothing says summer quite like a pool party complete with BBQ! My friend, Adam, decided to do just that for his birthday on Saturday and we had such a great time. As always, hanging out with the AgencyNet gang was super fun and I got to break out my new bikini from Forever 21! Unfortunately, I got a little heavy handed with the booze and ended up having a classy moment at a Wafflehouse later that evening. Oops! I hope that as the summer continues we can keep rocking the pool parties – I should test out our community’s pool area, maybe I’ll throw one of my own! 😉

sunday

true-blood-01

Sunday brought a serious case of the hangover, which was only made worse by its pairing with school work as well as work-work. Bleh. Fortunately, I was rewarded later that night with the True Blood premiere! We went to James’ home and watched it together with a group of friends. To all fellow fans, how great was that opener? I can’t wait to see how this season plays out – it looks like it is going to be amazing! Augi has already promised to set up HBO at home so we don’t miss a moment! I plan on picking up a Merlotte’s shirt to wear to Comic-Con next month – gotta show my support, afterall 😉

Lovable Friday!

1. Partial Comic-Con Schedule Released!
1. Partial Comic-Con Schedule Released!

I don’t think I need to describe what Comic-Con is anymore or the fact that I am going next month, right? Yeah, I didn’t think so. This week, some of the heavy hitters of the television world announced their presence at Comic-Con. Interested into who will be in attendance and holding panels? Check out this link for the schedule complete with date and times, but you can expect to see Big Bang Theory, Dexter, LOST, True Blood, Fringe, Eureka and the much-anticipated Flash Forward. The biggest disappointment and definitely not something to love this Friday is that Heroes will officially not be holding a panel this year. They will have “a presence” (whatever the hell that means) and with this presence apparently comes a sneak peek at Season 4. I’m super bummed because Heroes panels are known as being the best of the entire convention – I was really looking forward to participating in one. Oh well, let’s hope this presence is a damn powerful one, right Heroes fans? 😉

Every now and then, I form a girl crush. The “I’d love to hang out with you 24/7, borrow your clothes, dance on beds and take over the world” kind of feeling. Well, I feel that way about Ms. Gala Darling. She is a wonderfully eccentric and fabulous New Zealander that has made New York City her playground. Her blog is full of daily inspiration when it comes to fashion, music and life in general. I love a lot of blogs, but this one just sucks me in. If you know me personally, you would agree that Gala or a very similar girl is nested somewhere inside of me. I would love to dye my hair neon pink, live in a fabulous city and maintain my wardrobe on only sequins & glitter. She lives her life the way I aim to live my own: to the fullest, without regrets. I basically love everything about her.

Happy Hump Day: Zachary Quinto

4216_82602698275_69478063275_1689941_2980401_nI’m sure all of you were expecting this to come sooner or later! I just couldn’t help myself and actually wanted to do it last week since it was his birthday last Tuesday, but the No Doubt concert got in the way (heh).  So better late than never, right?

Definitely one of the last people on Earth to watch Heroes (Augi & I started our marathons in October of last year), but I was instantly addicted. And especially so to Mr. Quinto who plays everyone’s favorite serial killer, Sylar. Oh yeah, and he’s also that Spock guy. I’ve already gushed about him before when I made my “top 10 men” list, so I won’t repeat it all over again…just know that he makes me swoon to an embarrassing degree. And my husband never lets me forget it 😉
