I had a musical beginning to my weekend on Friday night thanks to my husband’s place of employment: Agency Net. Always a big fan of ANET events, I was really excited when they announced a karaoke night for employees and their significant others and friends. Although I really didn’t plan on singing (definitely not my strong point), I was having so much fun that I did partake in a few threesomes and group songs (although staying as far from the mic as possible). Don’t believe how hilarious & fun these people are? Check out the video under the jump:

Lovable Friday!
This lovable link comes straight from my husband, Augi. He frequents a Russian photo blog and thought of me when he saw this post. It’s a collection of beautifully decorated and presented sweets. Plenty of inspiration for your wedding’s candy buffet (are those still in vogue?) or next party. Although not a big sweets fan (I favor ice cream much more), I can appreciate it’s beauty in photos and the joy it brings others. OK, so I’ve been known to stuff my face every now & then with the rest of them – I can’t lie! 😉
Hair Polygamist.
I don’t know what my deal is, but I cannot stay loyal to one hairstyle. I just can’t do it! I pride myself on not having these commitment issues with any other aspect of my life, but this one I cannot quit! And I’m getting that itch now. When I got my haircut only 2 months ago, my new hairstylist told me I needed to get my hair cut every 2 months because my hair is color-treated. At that time, I just rolled my eyes but now I’m starting to think he strategically cut my hair so it would need another cut in that 2 month window! I feel like my hair has already lost its shape and pretty layers. So it’s time for something new – and no better time than right before my birthday & trip to San Diego, right? 😉
Happy Hump Day: Daniel Johns
I know to some of you this might seem like it is coming from left field, but I’ve had a pretty big crush on Daniel Johns since I was 14. All my high school friends will surely remember (in embarrassment). I think we celebrated Dan’s birthday by going to Outback Steakhouse and made him a pretty huge birthday card that my friend Janelle delivered to “his people” when she went to the Silverchair concert when we were sophomores (I wasn’t allowed to go – more about that later). Ah, those were the times.
Circus Love
For those of you that haven’t followed my online presence throughout the years, I was a very active “knottie” that enjoyed planning my wedding during my 2-year engagement. I really really loved it. To the point that I considered at one point (& sometimes still do) making wedding planning and coordination a career. It’s the reason I still find myself lusting after events like these.
Adam & Halli’s wedding was something out of an Anthropologie catalog somehow without being pretentious. They created an old school circus feel for their wedding from their attire to their location to their decor. The attention to detail was outstanding – from Halli’s “Till Death Do Us Part” tee for their rehearsal to the adorable kissing booth during the reception. It is a party planner’s dream come true.
So for those of you that read my blog and are currently planning a wedding, definitely click here to see all the photos from their amazing photographer. You will be flooded with inspiration! And if I were to get married all over again, I would love my shindig to look as effortlessly flawless as this adorable backyard wedding.
