Don’t forget to enter the CasaIdeas giveaway!!!! Today is the last day to enter – the winner will be chosen at random at midnight on 12/15. There are only a measly 5 entries! I know more people than that like free and cute stuff – especially around the holidays!!!!
ps; I know, I miss Hump Day too.
Happy Monday, everyone!
Due to my looming certification exam, I won’t be posting on the blog as much as I regularly do. It’s not exactly a hiatus – I’ll still be around, just not as often. I need to focus all I can on studying until I sit for it at the end of January, and am currently accepting all the well wishes and crossed fingers I can get. 😉
With that said, this weekend I became the proud owner of a Nissan Cube! I’ve been eying them since I heard they were making their way to America (remember this post?), so it’s completely surreal to be driving one right now. Three cheers for fuel economy!
One thing I absolutely love about the holiday season is the ability to wear sparkles and sequins with reckless abandon. Granted, in my world, it would be year round, but in an attempt not to be greedy, I’ll take what I can get. Although I don’t tend to have events worthy of all those glorious sequined dresses, I can totally justify the purchase of this fabulous sequined scarf. I think it would compliment a casual Christmas lunch or dinner outfit perfectly!
As you all know, I am a big fan of CasaIdeas, the fun home goods store in South Miami. I was given an exciting guided tour of their fall collection back in October, and was given a couple of goodie bags. Although I kept one (who wouldn’t), I had an extra and figured I would give you all the opportunity to call it your own! This giveaway includes a versatile black and white tote bag, a colorful notebook, a set of girly nail files and a convenient pedicure set.
Would you like the chance to win?
It’s easy:
1. Comment to this post with what you want the most for your home this Christmas.
2. Add CasaIdeas on Facebook and/or Twitter
A winner will be chosen at random a week from today, December 15th.
Good luck, readers!
This is another reader freebie for you all – think of it as an early Christmas gift! Despite being crowned the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine, Bradley Cooper just doesn’t do it for me. Sure, he has that Ken doll, rugged masculinity going for him, but I think he’s just too pretty and too perfect. Could that ever be a problem? I guess I just like my men a little flawed. But I can’t deny that he looks wonderful with minimal clothes on and that he’s a pretty amazing actor. Although I haven’t seen Limitless, I’ve heard it’s fantastic, and I (along with the rest of America) loved him in the Hangover films, but my absolute favorite Cooper role has to be Wet Hot American Summer. Oh yes.
