Friday night we headed to Ian and Beau’s new apartment for their official housewarming. We had entirely too much fun with their dirty word magnets and were inundated with entirely too much beer. I tried my best to be on my best behavior though as the next morning was the autism walk in Broward.

I promised all of you some fun before and after shots as we progressed on our new home and we’ve been moving along enough to finally share some with you! We still have so much to go, but are having fun with the process. Well, except for that pesky mortgage part – our first payment gets sent in tomorrow – ouch! 😉

OK, so I’ll be the first to admit that Jude Law isn’t what he used to be. I remember first setting my eyes on the Brit back when I was in high school and thinking he was absolutely stunning. By the time I was in grad school, my heart would basically skip a beat whenever I saw him in a movie (which was often since he was cast in basically every major blockbuster for months) and then he seemed to disappear. However, he appears to have hit his stride again recently with the success of Sherlock Holmes and now Repo Man, but he’s not aging very gracefully. Summer is my favorite season. Not only is it a beautiful time down here in South Florida, but it’s also the one and only time I get to wear my princess crown: my birthday! This year I’ll be heading back to the West Coast to celebrate my birthday with my closest friends in San Diego for Comic Con and it’s about time for me to start hunting for that perfect birthday girl dress! After all, who knows who I could run into that night?
