It feels like I’ve been gone from the blogosphere for entirely too long, so I figured I would pop in real quick to give a little update! I’m busier than ever, but will try to continue posting regularly in the weeks to come.
Happy Hump Day: Darren Criss
Many friends have pointed me in the direction of a Very Potter Musical, and although the few little segments I’ve seen have been all sorts of wonderful for this Potter geek, it’s his most current role as Blaine on Glee that really made my heart swell. He plays Kurt’s new crush from Dalton Academy (please let him not join their ranks, it can’t be!) and he has managed to make me love songs I usually cannot stand. Examples? Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream and this week’s Soul Sister by Train. He is absolutely wonderful! Is there anyway I can make him pocket-sized so I can tote him with me everywhere I go? No? Oh. Well, I guess this picspam will have to do!
Happy Hump Day: Mark Salling
Glee is TV’s new golden child and after their opening number and award sweep at the Emmy’s, you can’t really deny it. Not only is the cast of Glee outrageously talented, but they earn pretty high marks on the looks scale too. Mark Salling, who plays the nasty jock that finally showed his soft side, is definitely up in ranks. And all that sweet crooning is no joke – Mark graduated from the Los Angeles Music Academy. He will also be releasing his own album, Pipe Dreams, in October of this year, where he is the composer, performer and producer. Looks like quite the busy year for Mr. Salling! Cheers to you, my man! Enjoy the eye candy, readers 🙂
Happy Hump Day: Matthew Morrison
Today is hump day, yes. But for the past few weeks, Wednesdays have meant something else for the majority of the U.S.: it’s Glee day!!! What I find to be one of the best new shows (if not the best) of the Fall has taken America by storm. After being lucky enough to attend the Glee panel at Comic-Con, I can honestly say that I don’t think any of the cast or crew thought this show would be as huge as it has become. But you really can’t go wrong with a batch of such talented (and good looking) people. Matthew Morrison would definitely be grouped in that category! He plays Will, the new Glee club teacher, that is struggling with not only his job stability but also with his marriage to a complete and total fruit loop.
If you don’t watch the show, I highly recommend it. If my word isn’t enough for you, check out their killer rendition of Don’t Stop Believin’. I’m pretty much you’ll be sold.
Enjoy the spam, ladies!
Comic-Con Recap: Saturday
Oh Saturday. You were batshit insane and then some. But I loved every single second of you. If I could relive any day out of the 4, it would be you. Let’s start from the beginning, shall we?
I woke up at the butt crack of dawn (5am, to be exact) in order to secure a good spot at the LOST panel. When we arrived at 6am, the lawn was already slammed. We sat around, made new friends and played some trivia with the ODI. I also took a nice cat nap on the grass. Before we knew it, we were starting to move into Hall H for the last ever LOST panel. There were no words for the excitement I felt, but maybe this video could give you an idea:
