Melificent will be visiting the mouse this weekend with the mister and some friends.

Our third day in Barcelona was a good one. We took it easy. We visited the Picasso Museum, strolled through the port and had a very romantic dinner complete with wine and paella. I think this city is just made for romance and adventure – forget Paris (but that’s a whole other post). Although our stay got a little wetter than usual, the weather was still fantastic. It was beginning to cool down a bit, but not enough to need a coat and the hazy sky made it look even more foreign and mysterious. Have I mentioned that I loved Barcelona?

I hope you all had a great holiday weekend with your nearest and dearest! It always goes a little too fast, huh? Here were our highlights:
x. Really delicious Thanksgiving dinner
x. Sharing stories and pictures from our trip with family and friends
x. Chatter about starting to test drive cars (!!!)
x. Starting new photo traditions, namely, a picture at each anniversary
x. Putting together a video of our amazing vacation
x. Putting up our fun & kitschy tree and other Christmas decorations
x. Attempting to listen to Christmas music and failing (it makes me angry for some reason), eventually reverting to the Nightmare Before Christmas OST
x. Seeing my hubby happy: He finally got an iPhone 4s!
x. Having a girls nite with my sister
x. Starting some fun Christmas-themed DIY projects like this cute tinsel wreath:
Have you started to decorate for the holidays?
Tackling any fun projects? Share them with me in the comments!
I promised I would do an outfit post every day while I was parading around Europe, and I’m happy to say I kept that promise (well, it got a little harder as the trip progressed and more and more clothes were dirty). Day 1 brings us to Barcelona. We absolutely loved the city, its vibe and beautiful sights. With every turn, there was something creative and beautiful. When we first arrived, jet lagged and groggy, we just decided to walk aimlessly. We walked down the famous Las Ramblas, made a couple of turns and stumbled on this adorable park sprinkled with cute children, pets and awesome graffiti. I had found my spot!

I’ll be spending a much needed relaxing weekend with my hubby and friends in one of my favorite places, the Windy City, so the blog will be sans love on this Friday. However, I’ll make sure to come back next week with a full report of all the fun. Don’t miss me too much!
