I am absolutely in love with this adorable French site, La Photo Cabine. It’s a mock photobooth that you can use for free (!) as long as you have a webcam, which are usually already installed in most laptops these days. Once your 4 photos are snapped, they are easily downloadable to your computer or can even be shared on your Facebook. It’s a great little service that can be really fun while having friends over or if you are just having a particularly silly day. My only complaint is that the pictures are taken too quickly, so you oftentimes come out looking pretty ridiculous if not prepared, but that may add to the fun factor.

Awhile ago, before we purchased our home, I started compiling photos that served as decor inspiration. The picture to your left was one of the first ones that grabbed my attention, planting the little seed in my brain that grew into lust to have my very own pink room. Sure enough, after we found the house of our dreams, I began planning a replica based on that one little photo. I’m happy to say that after a few trips to Target, IKEA and Homegoods, that room is finally starting to take shape.
